Hi, my name's la Tooney and I'm a 1 year old neutered male Basset Hound/Lab/Rottie blend (yeah, yeah, we know ! ), hence the name TOONEY for the cartoon character I truly AM ! I would love to be your house dog 'cause I dearly love to spend time my people! Humans say a pups skills reflect on their mother but someone clearly took me away from my momma waaaaay too early so I'm working very hard with my rescue friends who are doing their best to teach me 'the works' ! I'm SUPER well socialized with people loving EVERY human I meet, flawlessly crate AND house trained and already know my sit, wait, load up and kennel commands but I loooove to learn so teach me some new tricks! In return for your kindness, I promise to shower you with hugs and tons of love and devotion. Just look in my eyes ~ I want so much to be loved! Though I'm easy going indoors and display impeccable manners, lounging quietly at your feet with a favorite toy to be the perfect companion, I can also be a TOP athlete IF you care to engage in some outdoor activities. I enjoy walks, runs, hikes and would likely excel at skate boarding if you're braver than my foster mom who refused to try it (lol). I'm also talented at touring in an automobile, and engaging in just about anything that makes you happy so that we can spend QUALITY time together! My new foster mom says I'm super, SUPER sweet, the consummate House Boy AND the absolute SWEETEST GOOFBALL she has ever had the pleasure to host in her home ~ come on out and give me a spin, she's sure YOU'll think so too !!!
