About Lincoln

Lincoln is approximately 6 years old, 59.5 pound, neutered male, Shepherd/Pointer mix that recently came to us as a stray. He is a very sweet boy that loves petting! Lincoln also enjoys going for walks and checking everything out around him. When outside, if you sit down, Lincoln will plop down beside you and just enjoy the moment. Lincoln does not do well with small animals especially chickens!! We also feel that Lincoln is a dog that while he might do fine with a dog his size, we are not sure that he would do well around small dogs or cats. Lincoln can sit, shake, beg and even gives hugs!! We have found that taking a few extra moments to build trust with him will definitely go a long way!! Please note that Lincoln is not on site at the shelter. You will need to fill out an application, once approved, we will schedule a time for you to meet him.
