About Roxie

This sweet girl Roxie is looking for a permanent home.. she is a little shy at first but very cuddly with her humans and very social once she feels comfy. Kinda in the middle in terms of energy - very chill inside but has a lot of stamina for long walks and hikes. Very well trained inside as well - doesn't chew or make a mess - but needs some more leash-training (she's improving though!) House-trained and crate trained. She is a Bully Breed mix (probably mostly Staffy). On the smaller end, and very fit/in-shape. Knows sit, down, and shake, and is very smart and receptive to new training! We're currently working on heel. Does not do well with other dogs, so needs a one dog home. Only barks when she hears the front door open, other than that she's very quiet. She's got really short fur and loves to curl up in little balls or snuggle between people to keep warm. Really fast when she's got off-leash time to run around and let out her energy. Loves bones. My house mates and I took her in after a friend of a friend was going to put her down because they couldn't find a shelter to take her. Unfortunately none of us can commit to a dog long term but we love her very much and want to make sure she goes to a caring home.
