A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet.��%BD'�� Maya Scottie Terrier, female, spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, heart worm negative, roughly 13 lbs. Will the madness ever end? How does a beautiful Scottie girl like Maya end up in a city death camp of a shelter in Korea? It absolutely boggles the mind but thank goodness Maya was rescued by the Korean rescue just in time before yet again she was about to lose her precious life & as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out. Maya was bought back to the USA & is now a US citizen & her life has already changed so dramatically, she has discovered what love is, a warm bed & the fondness & joy she has for toys & her new zest for life & playing & boy does she love to play. Maya is looking for her forever home where she has dog friends in the home who like to play rough as she is a rough player so her new family needs to understand her personality & having Scottie experience would be great. Miss Maya really enjoys a good game of tug of war, loves to go outside & play, absolutely loves her toys to, we believe she never had toys in Korea & her world now has changed since she has discovered the toy box. This is mandatory for her to have another loving dog in the home & many toys. Maya is such a sweet gentle soul & both of her foster homes describe Maya as sweet, sweet sweet but wakes up her foster mum & dad with kisses & enthusiasm to run & jump in the toy box. Maya has energy so she needs a home where she will be entertained & played with, she is a very smart intelligent Scottie. Maya is beyond super sweet, loves to sleep & cuddles up to you while sleeping & loves to cuddle up to her foster siblings. She absolutely loves to play with toys & is very playful & my does she enjoy a good toy box. We are guessing from her love of toys she never had toys before. Maya's foster families both said they had been teaching Maya to take treats nicely, she wants those treats & she wants them now so this is a work in progress. Maya has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings so she must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home who are extremely playful & are not scared of a good rough play & she does enjoy a good outfit. She is not a good fit for a home with sensitive little dogs personalities. Maya is perhaps a Scottish Terrier what she is mixed with we do not know for sure but she is roughly 13 lbs & still needs to put on weight & her wonderful foster mum & dad are working on putting weight on this sweetheart, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, has been dewormed & looking for her dream forever home to love her. Maya had to be shaved all the way down to the skin in Korea to check for any skin infections or any signs of scars or abuse, her fur is starting to grown back in. Maya has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children so this would be up to the new family to be responsible with. We do not know for sure what breeds Maya is mixed with & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Maya's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Maya potty trained or available, we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Maya & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and
