About Penny

Penny's time was up in a TX shelter where she's spent the last several months so she came to Low Riders in CO to find her forever home. Penny was found as a stray and has been waiting patiently in the shelter as several of her kennel mates kept getting adopted. Sadly, no one wanted to adopt Penny (due to her shyness we assume) but she's super sweet and dog friendly. She's approx 2 y/o and 32#. Penny is spayed, utd on vaccinations and chipped. Right now, Penny is still pretty scared of new people (esp men) and in situations so she'll need a friendly canine companion in the home to show her the ropes and either someone with experience or willing to hire a professional trainer. Penny loves to be outside running around and is working on potty training and her recall. Penny won't adjust well to an apt so her new home needs to have a secure fenced in yard as she's still considered a flight risk.
