About Kaido

Kaido is a 9-11 year old Senior Pomeranian who still thinks he's a puppy. He weighs 12 pounds. He has a favorite ball and loves to play non-stop fetch with you. In between, he likes to just hang out near his humans. He doesn't really care to be picked up or held, but likes to keep an eye on you. Once he trusts you, he loves back and ear scratches. Because he lived in one home his whole life, he is a little skittish. Sudden noises startle him, he seems to have trouble focusing his vision and he's not fond of dark and/or confined spaces. But he is still happy as can be. He reportedly does not like young children, but he gets along with a variety of dogs, even though he won't play with them. He is adjusting to his different surroundings and is learning new house-training routines. He is missing quite a bit of hair on his back where he wore a jacket his entire life, but we are hoping it will grow back quickly. He is doing well on potty training, can go all night without an accident and if taken out regularly and you watch for the clues doesn't have accidents. He is up to date on vaccines, HW negative and he can't wait to find someone to let him relax his elderly years away. He must have a fenced yard for safety. Adoption fee is $85.00.
