About Mrs. T

Mrs T was dumped by her owner along with her sister because they were chasing livestock. Mrs T was pregnant and had 5 puppies. 4 survived. She was VERY sick after she gave birth, but we got her going good again. Her pups are weaned. Mrs T is in the beginning stages of kidney failure and needs a special diet and routine blood-work to keep her comfortable as long as possible. She also has a front left leg that was broken but never set back (the owner didn't take her to a vet when she was hit by a car) so it is healed back short now. She does use it about 40% of the time to walk on. Her right rear hip is dislocated. She could use an FHO surgery, but not sure that it is causing her pain any more so we suggest leaving it alone. No small kids, dogs or cats. She is very outgoing and sweet, but has a prey drive. She is great with strangers. House and kennel trained. She seems to be 3-4 yrs old and is about 75 lbs. We want to believe there is hope for dogs like Mrs. T, who did nothing wrong to deserve even a fraction of the bad things that happened in their life. Maybe there is a kind person out there willing to give her something every dog deserves, and to get all the love and adoration that a German Shepherd is bred to give in return?
