Since we do not have parents though we really don't know how big they might get. History- Daisy and Luke were surrendered to a small rural shelter. They were the last 2 from a litter being sold and started getting too big. The shelter sent out a plea and we agreed to bring them into our program. They had really bad fleas as well as worms however we have taken care of that and they are now ready to start looking for families of their own. Temperament- Very playful, sweet, and a little shy. She is absolutely darling Energy Level- Typical high puppy energy Dogs/Cats- They have met both cats and dogs and seem playful and happy with both. Housetrained- They are in a crate and put out every few hours to potty. They are doing wonderful. Daisy is just such a sweet, sweet baby. She was a little scared of us when she first got here but she has really started blossoming. She is still a little shy but is starting to play and have fun. Please be aware puppies are a lot of work - they need a lot of training and socialization to grow into well behaved adult members of the family. As puppies they will sometimes mouth/bite and scratch in play. Children should be taught how to be gentle with all animals and to understand that puppies aren't trying to be mean but might accidentally scratch or bite them. If you have a sensitive child/children and wanting to get a pet for them maybe consider an adult that has been around children- they are a lot less work as well. Otherwise there might be a lot of tears and nonsense when the child doesn't understand why the puppy scratched or nipped them. So please be fully aware and do your research if you are considering a puppy. Adoption fee $300 includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies, collar and leash, training information, and all the support you need.
