BEAU - A4185739 My name is BEAU. I am a neutered male, tan American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 21, 2018. Recent notes from a volunteer: 'BEAU is a handsome sweetheart! He is a bit overwhelming on the leash so he and I headed to a large kennel to hang out. That is where he showed me his ball handling skills and sweet personality. Beau knows how to fetch, give the ball/toy back gently, and also knows 'sit.' This high energy boy did okay with another social male in Playgroup....inspected and reciprocated play. He can be pushy and become overstimulated, but responded to his handler's correction. Because of this he is recommended to families with children over 14.' Beau is beginning to deteriorate in his kennel. This commonly happens to dogs who have been incardcerated for a month or more. Unless Beau gets adopted soon, he will go on the euthanasia list and will not leave the kennel on all fours.
