About Oscar

Oscar was found several months ago wondering the streets of downtown Jax. When he was picked up, he had almost lost all his hair and had an ear infection. He was covered in fleas and was very dirty. I took him in and nurtured him back to immaculate health! He is up to date on all his vaccines and has been seeing my Vet that I use on my other rescues. He has no known health issues at all. I have all of his medical history and vet visits with me. He LOVES to be around other dogs and likes to chase my neighbor's cats. I'm unsure of how he would do living with a cat as I do not have any. We have 3 teenage boys living in the house and he LOVES them. He tends to snap at tiny children when they put fingers in his face. He is not fond of that too much. He is potty trained, however, sometimes will mess in the bathroom on a wee wee pad (that my other rescues need to use sometimes). Oscar is not fixed yet. He needs to be neutered. He is a little food aggressive while he eats and chews on his bone. He is crate trained and loves to sleep in his crate with a cover. He also loves to nap in his bed during the day. He is not destructive and won't chew shoes, walls, etc. He would do very well with a fenced in yard. Otherwise he has to be on a leash ALL THE TIME or he will run away. I hired a trainer at one point for Oscar and he responded very well to it. Overall, he's a wonderful dog and it is hard for me to keep 4 dogs in the house.
