Dalkong Teddi Shi Tzu/Yorkie mix 14 months old, 11 lbs, neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, just had 2 baby teeth removed. Had a hernia repair in Korea. Dalkong the little shi tzu/Yorkie mix who is so unbelievably precious & so stunning to look at along with his adorable personality has yet another sad life story. His mum in Korea took him to a kill shelter in Korea & dropped him off & requested he be euthanized because she was overwhelmed & was absolutely ok with the thought of him losing his precious life. He was rescued by the Korean rescue just in time before he was about to lose his precious life & as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out. Dalkong was bought back to the USA & is now a US citizen. Straight away we could see how thin Dalkong was with all of his ribs showing & he really needed to put on weight which his foster mum has been working on & he has since put on weight. He is looking for his forever home where he has dog friends in the home who are ready for a good rough & tumble play when playing with him & a very loving family. This is mandatory for him to have other playful dogs in the home. Dalkong is such a sweet gentle soul & his foster mum loves him oh so much. She said he is one very smart little fellow who listens well, is very smart & loving & cuddly. Mr Dalkong who the foster mum calls Teddi. Dalkong also needs a home where someone is home during the day. Dalkong (Teddi) has been around many breeds of dogs & he is currently fostered with foster siblings so he must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home who are playful & he does enjoy a good outfit. Dalkong is perhaps a Shi Tzu/Yorkie mix what he is mixed with we do not know for sure, he is roughly 11 lbs & still needs to put on weight & his wonderful foster family are working on putting weight on this sweetheart, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative, has been dewormed, needed to have 2 baby teeth removed by our wonderful vets & also had a hernia which was operated on in Korea & is looking for his forever family. Dalkong has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so this would be up to the new family to be responsible with. We do not know for sure what breeds Dalkong (Teddi) is mixed with & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Dalkong's friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Dalkong potty trained or available, we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Dalkong & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Dalkong who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little fellow. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.
