About Cavalli

This is Cavalli. We found hin about 2 years ago after our Red Heeler passed away and we wanted a new friend for our other dog Scarlett. He's about 7 years old, very gentle with adults and children. The lady we adopted him from told us that he was good with other dogs, and we are finding that isn't the case. I am heavy hearted having to re-home him, but it is just becoming a little too much for our family. Scarlett is younger and likes to play, but he does not like the aggressive puppy mentality that she has. I'd like to find his fur-ever home with someone that will just let him cuddle inside. We don't know much about his past, but we are very aware that he may have been abused at one point. He has never attacked any of my family, he loves all of us and the attention he gets but we fear that is why our dogs do not get along. Jealousy. We hope someone who may just want one sweet companion will be happy to take him for us. I'd love to stay in contact so I know how he does. He is a blue heeler mix. Neutered. 7ish years old. Does not get along with ANY other animals as a safety suggestion. Totally non-aggressive towards any adults or children. We have a 7 year old and he absolutely adores her. The lady who he came from was a vet tech that took him in as a stray that ended up in her office. He's all up to date on shots according to her but we have no paperwork. We will supply food, a leash, bowl, bed and shampoo. He really is the sweetest boy and want the best for him. We just know that he isn't happy here with us. This is my first attempt to re-home and I'm hoping it goes well, as we do not want to take him to the humane society.
