MOX - A4113798 My name is MOX. I am a neutered male, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Aug 23, 2018. Notes from a volunteer who took Mox out for the day: Despite the fact that sweet Mox has been watching for his family to arrive since August 23rd, this was our first time to spend time together. What an incredible boy! Mox hopped right into the car and settled right into his spot for the day, sitting at the window with his nose in the breeze. He would come forward ever so often to sneak a smooch then return to his window. That's my kind of co-pilot! :) He was so happy to see that we had arrived at a park filled with so many new sights, sounds and smells. Mox is very engaged in his environments. He is sure to investigate as much as he can, watch, listen, smell�'�| all of it while keeping a great pace. We climbed up and over rocks that had him problem solving his path back down. He seemed to enjoy having the opportunity to figure it out. We put it a solid two-mile trail walk / hike and by the end he was pretty pleased with himself. From there we headed off to our next destination, sharing lunch along the way. We took a long leisurely walk at Freestone Park where Mox enjoyed watching kids ride their skateboards, families playing frisbee and the train go by with people waving. We found the perfect spot to sit and take it all in. That's when I discovered that Mox is a lap dog! Just love everything about this boy! Our perfect day ended with a pup cup and sleepy eyes! Mox is a very personable, affectionate boy who will benefit from an active home who will provide him routine with regular exercise. He is a very smart boy and will excel in training with positive reinforcement, he truly wants to please.
