About June

June is a high energy lab mix that showed up at our farm, when she was dumped out in the country. At the time we had a 50 acre horse farm and she would come up to our barn and sleep in the hay room. She quickly became a community dog, visiting the neighbors for treats and hot dogs and everyone around our farm fed her and kept an eye on her. She played with our cats, neighbors kids, and with our 4 small dogs. She loves to play fetch and usually had a toy in her mouth from one of the neighbors. When she was hit by a car I stepped up and paid the 2,000 plus to have her back leg operated on and repaired. She still can run like the wind. Before we could get her spayed she hooked up with the wrong guy , a blue heeler down the road and became pregnant. We worked with a local rescue and placed 11 of the 12 puppies. One puppy ended up with us and she will also be listed. June is possessive of her food. I do not know how she would do around small children, but she was good to the older children that would come to the horse farm to ride, and would follow them when on the trails. She loves to walk with you on hikes. She loves water!! She will chase and sometimes catch squirrels, and rabbits. We recently had to sell our farm because of health issues and we can no longer keep June. The neighbors did not want her to leave, but could not take her and the new farm owner had his own dogs and she could not stay at the farm. She is current on all Vaccines and Rabies.
