Fuego was given his name because it means 'Fire,' which he needed in order to survive years on the streets. He was finally caught late December, 2018. You can tell he was a street dog. He's slightly mistrustful of strangers, emaciated, his teeth are rotting and he's covered in scars. Since being in foster care, he's learning how to live. He adores the children he shares his home with, but is grumpy and huffy towards other dogs. He can do exist, but he's not happy about it. Has gotten used to cats. He's fallen in love with lap cuddles and cozy dog beds. He has a bad habit or two that we are working on but he needs time and consistency to undue his years alone. He has stage 4 periodontal disease so will be getting a full dental work up. His blood work came back great, and he will be getting his cryptorchid Neuter soon. He's also dewormed, gotten his terrible nails cut and will be chipped. His perfect home will be a retired woman or couple that can give him a chance!
