About Brittney

Brittney is a 12 wk old lab mix. If there were grades for potty training I would give her a B+, she is very good at going when she is taken outside, but since she is still very young she still gets distracted playing and forget to tell us she has to go. She's not used to being home alone more than a couple hours at a time and is getting better at being in a crate everyday. She loves running, wrestling and carrying a stick on walks. She loves playing other dogs her size, but gets a little intimidated by playful big dogs. She is wonderful with small kids (but watch out, she's a pacifier thief). She's still a young puppy, so she needs a family willing to continue working with her on potty training, create training, puppy biting and basic obedience. Overall Brittney is the perfect family dog, she is ready for quiet cuddly movie night at home or a car ride and adventure to the park. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
