About Loki

Loki's family moved to Alaska and couldn't take him. He's 4 years old, and has been an indoor kitty his whole life. This very large, handsome, sleek and clean young man is going to make someone a great companion. Loki takes awhile to adjust to new people and new situations, but once he does he is a loyal, loving guy. He's pretty active and still very playful. He loves to explore, and will notice anything new in his enviroment. He's not big on SITTING on your lap, but he's happy to jump up on your lap and help you pet him. Sometimes he'll jump up to sit on his foster mom's lap when she rides her stationary bike. He is, after all, just thinking of her health, adding an extra 12-15 pounds just makes the workout that much more effective, right? He also has made a lot of progress getting along with other cats. There are 3 in his foster home, and as long as they leave him alone, he leaves them alone. He does not, however, walk away from trouble, he is more apt to jump right in! He is a big boy who plays rough and doesn't love being picked up, so we are recommending a home with no kids under 13. His previous owner said he is fine with dogs. He is also a pretty independent guy, so would work well in a home where everyone is gone a lot. He will, however, be very happy to greet you when you do come home. Loki is neutered, microchipped and current on his FVRCP and rabies vaccines.
