About Tank

Date into Rescue: 12/04/2018 Reason for being in rescue: Tank was lovingly surrendered by his breeder Special Needs: none noted What kind of home would be best for me: Tank needs a quiet home with patient owners. He would do well in a home without kids as they may overwhelm him. What is my personality like: Tank wants to be an affectionate dog but he is guarded when first meeting him. He is one that needs time to adjust and appreciates humans who do not push him too soon, he will come around when he is comfortable. Tank is currently learning what it is like to be a pet and have occasional one on one attention. So far he has gotten along great with other dogs but he does not care for playing and instead wants to hang out on the couch and watch everyone else play. How do I act when I first meet new people: Shy Tips and Tidbits: Tank was a breeder release with not a lot of socialization and will appreciate a family that can help him move forward. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
