Date into Rescue: 06/21/2017 Reason for being in rescue: JC was surrendered by his owners to a local shelter because he was old and going blind. CPR stepped up to give this boy a chance and a home. Special Needs: JC had restorative vision surgery the end of December 2018. He can now see out of both of his eyes and is ready for his forever home! What kind of home would be best for me: JC would absolutely love a home where he can be the star of the show and showered with attention! What is my personality like: JC is the happiest boy in town! This boy hits the floor running to you with all kinds of excitement. He just thinks the only thing he is missing in life is a family of his own. A special boy like this is way to sweet and loyal to not be apart of a family. We love him at our rescue but we would love to see him fulfill his purpose, which is making people happy. JC is highly treat motivated. He does well with belly bands in his foster home and is doing well toward his potty training. How do I act when I first meet new people: Wiggles with excitement to meet you. JC never meets a stranger! Tips and Tidbits: JC is recovering well from his cataract surgery. His last follow up appointment with his doctors is 01/17/2019 and he will be ready for his forever home after this. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
