Date into Rescue: 1/2/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Ava was surrendered by a breeder due to the breeder's declining health Special Needs: Ava has a hernia which was repaired on 1/10/2019. She is healing well. What kind of home would be best for me: Ava needs an active home with experienced dog owners. She has been around dogs her entire life and would love a home with another dog to play with. What is my personality like: Ava is a big baby! She is not a dog for those who do not have a lot of patience and do not like clingy dogs. We are certain Ava was born bouncing off of the walls and wide open! She has no reservations about meeting and loving humans. Ava loves attention and giving hugs just as much as she loves romping around. She does fine on a leash but would much rather be in a fenced area to run freely in. Ava has been around dogs all of her life and does fine with other friendly dogs. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.
