About Scooter Squid

Scooter Squid is a handsome blue gray and white short hair male approx. 1yr. His adoption fee is $75. He has been vet checked and neutered. He is good with mellow cats and older kids. Calm dogs maybe if the intro was done properly. Scooter had a family that abandoned him without food, water or shelter. He made his way to a feral cat feeding station. A feeding station is where feral-wild cats are TNR'd - trapped neutered released and fed. Cats form colonies like this because irresponsible people abandon them, tossing them out like trash. They roam to find food then a loving caring concerned citizen starts feeding these starving cats forming a feeding station. They get TNR'd to prevent kittens, ear tipped so others know that these cats are fixed. The cats 'work' for us taking care of the mice, roof rats, scorpions and roaches, but they must be fixed. The 'wild' ones will survive because they are smart enough to elude predators and sick people. The 'tame' ones need to be taken in, they aren't smart. Until a foster home was found he would jump into the 'feeders' car. He wanted out of that situation bad! PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! Scooter is a baby heuy and very content to lay on his back and relax. He is a very affectionate lap cat. He will be the center of attention and greet you when you come home. He loves being paid attention to, petted and loved. He will follow his people around and loves a soft flannel blanket to knead. He loves his canned food treat in the morning and night. He likes interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toy. He is a beautiful boy that loves his kitty treats and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. He has big green eyes and rabbit soft fur. He is a cuddler and will expect to share your bed. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment!
