About Freddy Febreeze

Freddy Febreeze is a handsome chocolate black and white med hair. His best friend is Hazel Humpfrees, also up for adoption. They are both approx. 3y and their adoption fee is $75ea. They have been vet checked and spayed-neutered. They are great with everybody and everything! Nice cats, nice calm dogs and nice older kids. Freddy and Hazel had a family that abandoned them without food, water or shelter. They made their way to a feral cat feeding station. A feeding station is where feral-wild cats are TNR'd - trapped neutered released and fed. Cats form colonies like this because irresponsible people abandon them, tossing them out like trash. They roam to find food then a loving caring concerned citizen starts feeding these starving cats forming a feeding station. They get TNR'd to prevent kittens, ear tipped so others know that these cats are fixed. The cats 'work' for us taking care of the mice, roof rats, scorpions and roaches, but they must be fixed. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! They were too tame to stay out with the 'ferals', adopted to an older lady who is now moving to a retirement center and can only take 1 pet so she is taking her oldest. In 3 years Freddy and Hazel have been through what most cats hopefully never go through in a lifetime. They are so happy to be safely inside once again. They do not have to be adopted together BUT they are great buddies and keep each other company when the family is away. If you are possibly looking for two they are a great pair. After their typical adjustment period, Freddy and Hazel are both sweet, social kitties that want to be out with their family. They have been spoiled and love their treats, are very affectionate cats that want to both give and receive love. They are very easy going, either lounging around or playing. They are wonderful fun loving cats that will come when called, very easy kitties to please and will adapt pretty quickly to any loving situation. They love interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the 'Fling ama String' and the $2 'cat dancer' toy. Their love their kitty treats and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. They are cuddlers, very affectionate and will expect to share your bed. Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment!
