About Angus

Meet Angus! This dear sweet boy has been through alot and still maintains a loving disposition and easy going nature! Angus was found roaming the streets by a good samaritan who tried to find his owner through a variety of means but no one stepped forward. He was in awful condition when he was found, fur so long that it was matted and tangled, nails literally in a circle digging into his pads and an infected mouth. She reached out for help and we stepped in and took him into rescue. He has since been fully vetted and is now in perfect shape! He has had a full dental with some tooth extractions, full bloodwork, and a professional grooming. He feels and looks great and is now ready for a forever home! Between ourselves and the vet we know he is Yorkie that looks to be mixed with Schnauzer. He is about 5-6 years old, weighs in at 11 pounds and his coat is soft, non-shedding and hypoallergenic. In foster care he is with dogs large and small as well as cats and is fine with everyone. He has become more playful and enjoys going for leash walks. He is the type of dog who would be fine as an only dog as he really enjoys time spent with his human and is independent. His adoption fee includes his neuter, full dental, vet check and bloodwork, current vaccinations, microchip, potty training, harness and leash. An adoption fee does apply. As we pre-scree via email ONLY please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in the home, where your pet stays when you are out or at work, where your pet will sleep and how you keep your pet socialized with other dogs and people. Please note that no phone calls are accepted in the pre-screening stage AND we are NOT affiliated with any other rescue. Please also note that Yorkie breeds do need to be groomed about every 6 weeks to keep from getting matted. We appreciate you choosing to adopt!
