About Athena

Athena will be 2 years old in March 2019. She is high in energy and needs to have a fenced in yard to run around in, which we do not have. She is bull headed so potty training has been an issue since she wants to go on her schedule and not always ours. She is kennel trained. She has to be watched carefully because everything goes in her mouth and she will not let you remove it. She is prey driven so no small animals recommended. She is food motivated so shaking a treat bag gets her attention quickly. She doesn't realize her thick body build and will leap into your arms on the couch so you better be ready to catch her, this is why small children may not be a good idea. We feel it is in her best interest to find her a home with a fenced in yard and more home time so that she can get out of her kennel and burn off her energy. We are hoping to find her a home in Illinois so we can meet her prospective new owner.
