About Tarmac19

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tarmac showed up at a feral colony, but the caretaker knew right away that he wasn't feral. He showed up with a broken left front leg that was just hanging there. He couldn't use it all and seemed to be in a lot of pain, but he was still being a very sweet boy rubbing and purring and trying to ask for help in the best way he knew how. The caretaker reached out to Purr Partners for assistance, and of course we said 'yes'! We got him to Bunn Animal Hospital the next day, and Dr. Davis thought he might be able to save the leg by putting it in a cast and keeping Tarmac on cage rest for several months. This treatment worked and now Tarmac can use his healed leg just as well as he can the other ones, and he runs around and plays as if he'd never been injured. Tarmac loves other kitties, gets along very well with the two gentle dogs he lives with, and Tarmac is definitely a lover! He loves to be near his people, and will rub on them and give head-butts, purring the whole time. He is going to be a lap-kitty for sure, and will make some fortunate adopter a devoted, life-long companion.
