About Dexter

White, bi-eyed, 8yo male Siberian Husky that needs a new home. We have had him for 2 years and he has strong minded and has never bonded with my wife. Dexter did not grow up in a husky environment and does not know how to be a husky. He is ~70lbs, but not 'fat'�'�| he gets about 2.5 cups of dry food per day and still maintains his weight. He does have some type of allergy, but we have found a food he likes (when he wants to eat), that does not cause skin irritations. He loves to play ball and cuddle�'�| after he gets to know you. He hates to be alone even when he is in a large fenced back yard. He want you around him all the time. I indicated he is aggressive (he is an Alpha with out a pack) but only under certain circumstances. He is food protective, but not food motivated. He is toy protective, when he is done playing. He does not like children, but does not openly attack them. He does not like strangers... constant eye contact and baby talk irritate him. I want to be up front... he is not a low maintenance dog, but most Siberian Husky's are not.
