OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi there! My name is Holly Jane, Holly for short. I was a little skittish and shy when I first met my foster mom, but with time I've opened up and become much more confident. I may still be a bit shy around strangers, but if you let me sniff you and maybe give me a treat I'm sure I'll come around! The first day my foster mom brought me home I just wanted to c uddle up next to her and nuzzle under her arm. Needless to say I'm a big cuddler and extremely lovable. During the day I nap, munch on chews, and play...pretty much do what dogs do. I enjoy playing with toys and dogs. Initially I was scared of squeakers in toys, but now you wouldn't even be able to tell! I'd say I've definitely adapted to this good life and don't ever want to go back. I'm potty trained and crate trained and I know sit, down, stay, come, place, touch, impulse control, etc. I'm very smart and motivated to learn and please. I do well in the car and sleep through the night. I'm a sweet, playful, loving girl just looking for my furever home! Come meet me at the adoption center this weekend! Holly Jane is a Female Plott Hound Mix that we estimate to be born around 6/1/2018 and currently weighs 31 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
