HEY OVER HERE! IT'S MY TURN ISN'T IT- ZIGGY IN SALISBURY NC JUST WAITS AND WAITS... Hey I hear footsteps! Over here! I'm over here! They must be coming for me! All the others have come and gone. I'm the only one left. It has to be my turn...I wag my tail as hard as I can. I whimper a little so they can hear me. I even dance doing my best 4 step ...but then the footsteps move past me. Just walk on by. My heart sinks in my chest. I've never felt more alone. I wonder if I'm invisible.... Roger is a 2 year old, 65 lb Retriever mix who is a sweet and loving boy that just loves his humans. He was picked up as a stray and was quite thin. He ended up on death row but was rescued just in the nick of time so he could bring love and joy to some lucky family or person.
