About Skittles

Skittles is a little on the shy side yet very sweet. She was found in the yard of a home where the kind person fed her and tried unsuccessfully for a month to find her owner owner before turning Skittles over to the local shelter. Skittles gets along with other dogs but does not really play with them. She is more of a couch potato type and would rather lay on the sofa to be petted or lounge in a dog bed to watch tv in the living room with you. Skittles will sleep in her crate at night and does not mind being in it as she seems to get comfort/feel safe being in it. She is learning some basic commands. Skittles is about 2 years old and 27 pounds. Please help Skittles find the loving home she deserves. Update: Skittles tested positive for Lyme's and is undergoing the usual recommended course of oral antibiotic which she can be completed in her new home.
