About Queso

Queso is a bashful 2 year old Chihuahua mix looking for his patient and loving forever home. He weighs 10 pounds and is full grown. Queso was found as a stray and got his name because his favorite snack is cheese! He will need time and patience to adjust in a new home. Queso has done well with men and women, but has not been around any children that we know of. If there are any children in the home, they will need to be older and understand to go slow. Please bring along all family members including any dogs living in the home before adoption. When Queso was first found he spent a day at his finders house and she learned that he is house broken, knows how to use a doggy door and also rides well in the car! He is good with dogs of all sizes, big and small. He will need some leash training and would love to have a back yard to run around in. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $180. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
