Bernie is a 4 year old pit bull mix. He was rescued from an abusive neglectful situation. He was suffering from severe malnutrition, unchecked infections and parasites, physical abuse and was used as a bait dog. Through extensive rehabilitation he has regained his health and has become a sweet and loving soul and deserves to live in a loving home. Are you that special person who will save an abused pit bull. . His physical wounds have healed and he has put on weight, he just needs to come out of the kennel and into a home. His kennel owners say he is a happy-go-lucky personality who will follow you everywhere, and will never say no to hugs and praise. Because of Bernie's past, he will need an experienced pit bull owner. He should not be in a house with other dogs or cats, he needs to be your one and only.
