Leo gets along well with other dogs and cats. He loves to play with other dogs, go for walks in the woods (does well off leash), run on the beach, and have his belly rubbed. He would lay for hours with you for belly rubs. He has done basic obedience, socialization, and agility training classes. He can sit, stay, wait, down, come, spin, and many other commands. He is VERY treat motivated and eager to please. He is not the greatest at catch but he enjoys chasing after sticks and frisbees. Leo was originally a stray in Miami and can be a bit skittish at times, mostly of loud noises and thunder. However, because of his skittish demeanor he would do best in a quieter home without small children. Although he likes small children, Leo's current owners now have two small and very active children (ages 1&3) and the now chaotic home environment is proving to be too stressful for Leo. Leo is in general very low key. He's happy to lounge around the house most of the day. But, does enjoy walking on leash and off. He particularly loves walks in the woods and along the beach, but he enjoys a good neighborhood stroll as well. He is just happy to be part of the pack. So as you can see, Leo has quite a bit to offer and in exchange looking for a combination of quiet household but with regular outings for runs, dog play and agility.
