About Saniya (east)

SANIYA - A4165581 My name is SANIYA. I am a spayed female, red American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 46 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 07, 2018. I'm kind of a shy and timid little girl, but I warm up to you pretty quick. I'm not a real high energy dog, just kind of laid back and calm. I get along fine with other dogs, so if you already have a dog, please bring it down for an intro. I'm quite curious, and like to explore, and walk really good on a leash, so I would make a great hiking buddy. I have a condition called 'happy tail' which results from being in a kennel too small for my body size, and my tail bangs agains the walls when I wag it. Just another readon I need to get out of here soon. I would probably do best with older kids because I'm a little wary of rambunctious toddlers. I have been at the shelter long beyond the recommended time, and may go on the euthanasia list soon if not adopted.
