About Ives (east)

IVES - A4177654 My name is IVES. I am a neutered male, white and gray American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 60 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 20, 2018. Ives is a very friendly and gentle giant who loves being out of his kennel and with his human. He would make a great walking or hiking buddy. He has been at the shelter well over a month now, and like most dogs, has begun to deteriorate in the kennel. Dogs are very social animals, and long periods of incarceration cause them to mentally decline. This makes it difficult to adopt out a dog, because they appear to be too reactive when visited by the public. But once out of their kennel, they turn in to the sweetest dog you could meet. Please help us get this wonderful boy a home soon, or hi will go on to the euthanasia list.
