About Pippy

Adoption Fee: $300
Golden Retriever / Collie
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Pippy! Pippy is a 2 year old spaniel/collie/golden mix. She is super sweet and it only takes a few seconds for her to warm up to you. She's 43 lbs and full grown. Pippy loves children and adults of all ages. Pippy was an owner surrender from Chatahoochie Humane Society in Alabama when her owner didn't want her anymore so we are on a quest to show Pippy that she will be loved forever in her next home. She is crate trained and housebroken. She does really well in her crate and is an average energy dog from what we can see. She loves to lounge around on a comfy sofa or bed and she likes to lay with her toys a lot too. It is recommended that Pippy be in a single family home with a fenced in backyard so she can run around without having to go on a leash due to her not really liking to be around other dogs. Pippy pulls very strongly on the leash when she sees other dogs but really should not interact with other pups. She has broken off her leash multiple times when she sees other dogs and has gotten into some bad fights with them. She needs to be in a home where there is NO CHANCE of interaction with other dogs. A privacy fence would be best. Pippy needs to be an only dog. She wants to be queen of the castle :). we would love to have Pippy with a dog savvy family who understands and can work with her dislike of other dogs and appreciate her for the family dog she is. If you would be interested in giving Pippy her forever home, let us know. The adoption fee includes all vaccinations (she is up to date), microchipping, deworming, spay and heartguard and flea and tick preventatives that have been started. She is heartworm negative and free of all tick-borne diseases.
