About Frieda

Adoption Fee: $175
German Shepherd
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Frieda is a gorgeous Shepherd in search of a lifelong home. She has had quite the journey. Frieda came to rescue with Frederik. They were found astray in the frigid temps and taken in by a good Samaritan. The original owner was located and they were surrendered tor rescue. They had been rehomed but unfortunately to a pet flipper and wound up lost and alone. Frieda has some frost burn on her paws but is recovering quickly. She has been bred in the past and we will get her spay scheduled as soon as possible. We are told Frieda was a livestock working dog and she can be a bit reactive. she is great with Frederik. She is reactive with new dogs when she meets them but does calm down. It is something we will work with. She is also a no go for cats. Frieda loves to have her tummy scratched and seems ok with children so far. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intake Date: 2 Jan 19 ---------------------- Breed: Shepherd ---------------------- Age: 7 yrs/DOB 9 Jun 2011---------------------- Weight: 60 lbs ---------------------- Status: Owner Surrender---------------------- Compatible with: children, medium/large dogs---------------------- Suitable for: home with fenced yard ---------------------- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Dog reactive initially, prey drive with cats --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org.
