About CHLOE

Chloe is a 5 year old German Wirehaired Pointer mix. She is a darling girl who is sweet and super athletic -- can fetch a ball like no other! She does not do well with cats or small dogs. She'd be great as an only dog as long as (a) the people were around more than not, (b) the people are active, (c) the people want to and will spend time with her doing activities. Chloe would be fine with children who are at least 14 years old and very responsible. She has a passion for exploring and would be willing to bolt out a front door or a gate if someone was not attentive going in and out. And if she's really excited and forgets her manners, she'll jump up for greeting -- all of which isn't good for little kids. She weighs about 45 pounds so she's a nice medium size. Chloe is not an apartment or condo dog. She MUST have a great super fantastic yard with grass -- nice running room, and a block wall at least 5.5' high. This cutie pie knows sit on command, down, shake, and she even sits up pretty. She's a brilliant girl who can probably learn whatever show-tunes you'd like to teach her, so to speak. Fetching truly is one of her favorite things and she can run like an Olympian so a big yard where you can throw and she can chase is what she wants (and needs). That said, inside the house she is a perfect couch companion. She'll sit right at your feet, head on your lap, or if you welcome her, she'll get on a couch if allowed and will sleep there on a designated blanket at cinema time. She has so much love to give and is longing for someone to love her the rest of her life. Chloe is spayed, vaccinated, healthy, microchipped, and will go home with a collar and ID tag, harness, and leash. Her adoption fee is $260.
