About Wilbur

This old guy is 12 year old Wilbur. He is reported to be a Beagle/Basset mix. He got surrendered because his family recently moved to the area and he wasn't handling it well going from having his own yard to living in an apartment and his owner is pregnant and he apparently wasn't handling the pregnancy well. He is housebroken, good with kids, we know he is good with other dogs his size or smaller (Peggy Sue and he are great friends). He is good to be locked up for about two hours then wants outside. He apparently hates a crate. Not real good on a leash but will walk on it if you insist. He has never been around cats. He would probably be best as an only dog or with another one that isn't seeking attention - that seems to be his downfall. He takes lots of naps and is not fond of being woken up by other dogs. He is neutered, is current on his shots and is micro-chipped. He just needs a home that has a yard for him to be happy again. He does like attention.
