About Toby

**SPECIAL NEEDS ** TRIPOD ** Meet the handsome Toby! This sweet boy is a 2 year old male Lab Basenji mix. He is little guy weighting in at only 30lbs. When we found Toby he was a stray and had an old injury to his leg. He was dragging it along and couldn't put any weight on it. We decided the best thing for him would be to amputate it. Don't let his disability fool you though cause this boy has adjusted just fine!! He is super friendly and loves just about everyone and everything he meets. He is currently in foster care down south with a couple of little puppies and he is just so sweet and gentile with them. He loves to snuggle and wants to be with you at all times. He still has lots of energy and he loves to romp and play. Even with his 3 legs he would love to find a family who would like to go hiking and on adventures with him. He never turns down a good belly rub. . Even though he is considered an adult, he still has lots of puppy energy! He loves to play ball and to run around the yard. He would make a great addition to a family with an active lifestyle! He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. He can't wait to find his forever home!
