About Leelanee

Meet Leelanee (her name means wildflower)! We believe Leelanee is approximately 7-8 months old. She arrived at the sanctuary when a sister rescue took her on, along with her littermates and mom, from a terrible situation. We don't know much about her past as, frankly, we just don't want to know what horrors they went through. Leelanee came to us because she was a level 10 feral pup who was fear reactive. She needed a bit more work/rehabilitation than the others, but that is all in the past! Leelanee is friendly, playful, active, loves people, dogs, cats, and children too! She is all puppy with a strong, confident, happy bark! Leelanee is crate trained, housebroken, very food motivated, and picking up commands well. Her recall is great so far, welcoming to people, and accepting of affection from strangers. She's walking well on leash too. Leelanee loves to go for walks and loves swimming even more! She enjoys our visits to Lowes and the local farm stores. She's doing well with car rides too. She is available for adoption once her spay and vetting are complete. She will need a home with other dogs where she can continue to learn to be a well balanced dog. A fenced yard is required, and a very dedicated, patient, loving, committed forever family is a must.
