About Nellie

Nellie is a sweet 2 year old female Saint Bernard who is full of energy and incredibly loving. Nellie was born with a neurological disorder, which causes her a few issues. Nellie's balance is off, and stumbles when walking. She also experiences brief episodes in which she is temporarily unable to walk for periods of time ranging from 20 minutes to a few hours. During this time, Nellie is able to crawl, but cannot seem to stand herself up. Nellie is fully house trained, but seems to also struggle with separation anxiety and may have an accident when home alone. Nellie loves to play, fetch, and snuggle on the couch and is wonderful with kids and other animals. Also because of her condition, her growth was stunted around 6-8 months, and therefore is very small for a Saint Bernard. She weighs approximately 75 pounds. Nellie is looking for a forever home, preferably with someone who can give her the care and special attention that she needs.
