About Motty

Motty is a 9yr old, Border Collie/American Staffordshire mix, who is looking to be your one and only! This sweet girl, is VERY people friendly and is always excited to meet new human friends, both young and old. If you've browsed through her profile, you may have noticed a very UNIQUE feature about Motty, she has heterochromia iridium (two different-colored eyes). We think that makes Motty extra special. If looking close at her pictures, you may also have noticed some scars on her face. Impossible to know for sure, but we think Motty has been dealt a pretty crummy hand in her past. We'd love to give her an amazing future! Motty is also pretty petite, but don't let that fool ya. Motty is all muscle and deceptively strong. Motty would do well in a home with children, but parents do need to be aware of how strong she can be. She loves to go on walks & does best when she has her harness on. She does have a very strong prey drive, so no cats or other livestock in the home would be best. She is house and kennel trained and enjoys relaxing in her kennel when she needs to be left alone. Motty loves playing with her stuffed animals and manages to keep them in one piece for several days! (Ha!) Motty does not require a rigorous exercise routine. The suggested adoption donation for Motty is $150, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue. The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver the dogs.
