About Ella

Welcome Ella. She is a Lab/Whippet mix. He is about 1.5 years old and medium sized. Her weight is about 27 pounds. She would be best in a quieter home with an older couple or person. She would be a great companion for a single person or couple. She is very sweet and warms up slowly and responds to a slow gentle touch. We can assume that someone hit her because she is ready to jump if you move fast in her direction. That being said, she will make a great pet and the fact you know that gives you the insight to her heart. We would think teenage children or no children would be her best home. She will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. She deserves a forever home with a kind and gentle family. She was rescued out of one of the local high kill and overcrowded shelters that came to us for help. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or transported to the East or the West Coast.
