About Sky

Sky is around 1 1/2 years old and is incredibly loving and playful. Sky came to us as an owner surrender after she continued to lose weight despite her owner's best efforts; he simply could not afford further testing and made the difficult decision to surrender her. Bloodwork revealed that Sky has EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency), which is not uncommon in shepherds. Thankfully, it is fairly easy to manage through adding pancreatic enzymes to her meals to help her digest the food. Sky has been on enzymes a few weeks now and already gained almost 4 pounds overall. Her adopters will need to commit to providing Sky with pancreatic enzymes for her life, and monthly B12 shots may also help. The estimated cost of the enzymes is around $60-80/month. If you can provide Sky with this care, you will be gifted with an incredible dog in return. Sky's adoption fee is $350.
