About MARLO

SAY HELLO TO MARLO! Marlo is a wonderful 4 year old Heeler / Corgi mixed girl. Weighing in at 21 pounds, the brown and black brindle coated girl is one very special dog. Marlo came in as a stray from Wilcox, Arizona after being hit by a car. She was paralyzed in the hindquarters but the vet felt it was just bruising of the spine and she may regain use of her legs. It took some time but she did! Now there is no stopping her! Marlo is very playful. She loves to play ball, fetch, play with squeak toys. She will play ball by herself too. She is 'ball obsessed!' Marlo gets on pretty well with her foster mates. She can get a little jealous of other dogs once bonded but is controllable with firm handler. She likes everyone she meets, strangers and friends alike. She would do good with a family if they have kids that are older kids that over 12. Marlo is both house and leash trained. When supervised, she knows how to use a dog door. She rides very nicely in the car and is polite to all she meets at the park. Marlo's coat is short and easy. She will require baths as needed and regular professional nail trims. Marlo's adoption fee is $ 300.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Marlo will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
