About Minnie

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Minnie was found covered in feces, urine and motor oil, an apparent victim of abuse. She was skin and bones and looked terrible. Minnie has been in quarantine since we found her because she was in such poor shape. We have managed to get her cleaned up, dewormed, treated for Giardia, coccidia and just get her used to being with people that are nice to her. Despite whatever it is she endured, she is such a sweet girl. She doesn't bite, scratch or hiss, and she will gladly tolerate anything but rough play. She gets spayed and more vaccinations May 31st, and she will be combo tested as well. We have yet to test her around kids or dogs, but we are taking it one step at a time with this sweet girl. The photo we have posted of her was taken after several baths and we still could not get all the mess out of her fur. It's gone now, after many. many baths but there are still some stains that remain. We are hoping it grows out. Minnie needs 1 more set of shots in 3 weeks and she will be ready to go to her new home. Update October 2018 Minie has completed all her vetting and is fit as a fiddle now. She is very affectionate to people but is not thrilled with other cats. She is fine with dogs as long as they respect her personal space. She is super loving and enjoys snuggling with her chosen person.
