A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet.��%BD'�� Nana 6 months old, 15.2 lbs, possible miniature German Shepherd mix, up to date on her shots, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm negative. Yet again another extremely sad life story for Nana who was rescued just before she was about to lose her very scared & terribly frightened life in a extremely overwhelming & over crowded death camp of a shelter in Changwon, Korea. She was pulled by the Korean rescue just in time & was rescued & as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do. Nana was bought back to the USA & is now a US citizen. Straight away we could see how thin Nana was & she really needed to put on weight which the foster family has been working on. Instantly we knew from Nana's behavior she had been to hell & back & did not trust men & needed time to trust & everyone needed to go slow with her & have compassion for what she had previously endured. Nana needs several days to warm up to new people & to trust them, some men she wants absolutely nothing to do with as we believe a man was extremely cruel to her previously in Korea. But in her current foster home with her foster dad though she seems fine with him & he is a tall soft & very kind gentle man. Nana loves food but has not really taken to treats yet, perhaps that may take time. She loves her toys so in her new family they must be willing to have toys for this lovely little lady to enjoy, as we don't believe she experienced toys in her life before. It's mandatory for Nana to go to a forever home where there are other dogs present in the home as she loves to play with other dogs who enjoy countless bouts of playing more than several times a day. Nana being a puppy does the normal puppy chewing & will need to be taught what she can chew on & what she can't & will need puppy training. The foster family worked out Nana loves to sleep in her crate, perhaps over time this will change once she gets older. Also with some people she likes to be held & cuddled & given lots of love & some people she does not enjoy them picking her up. Nana does love a good nap laying on her foster mum so this is a regular occurrence. Nana needs a forever home where the home has a fully fenced backyard as she has so much energy where to she can run & play, we can't imagine she had much of an opportunity to go outside in her previous environment. Nana has traveled in the car countless time & with her foster family also & she does really well in the car. Nana has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings so she must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home who are very playful & this is mandatory. Nana is perhaps a mini German Shepherd mix what she is mixed with we do not know for sure, she is roughly 15.2 lbs & still needs to put on weight, her wonderful foster family are working on putting weight on this sweetheart, she is now spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, has been dewormed & looking for her forever family. Nana has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. Nana has been around small children in the rescue & we believe it's best she not go to a home with small children in the home. We do not know for sure what breed Nana is but it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Nana's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Nana potty trained. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.
