A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet.�'۬Sophie 2 years old Jindo mix 15 lbs, spayed, chipped, etc. Poor sweet baby doll Sophie, yet again how could anyone hurt or kill Sophie unfortunately that was going to be her fate in a horrible kill shelter in Korea until the rescue we work with asked could we take her. Sophie was scheduled to be euthanized on the day she was rescued & that's why she was rescued as she was going to lose her life. Sophie was extremely thin, underweight & extremely malnourished & needing help. Sophie went to the vets in Korea & then went into a foster home until she was brought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen. The adorable Miss Sophie is all muscle now as her foster family for her to put on the weight she needed. Sophie is so very gentle & affectionate, a little shy at first but once she knows you she warms up. Since being in her foster home she has truly transformed into who she was always meant to be. She has so much energy & it's mandatory for other playful dogs to be in her new forever home & she needs a home with a fully fenced yard & every day would need to be taken on walks or even hikes. She absolutely loves to be loved in her foster home. She does not mind being picked up & held as we are sure that was not something she experienced in Korea. Sophie does great with other dogs & people & is learning to be on a leash. Sophie does well around cats but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had her around small children. Sophie is perhaps a Jindo mix, she is 2 years old, she is 15 lbs & now has put on weight, she is spayed by laser by our wonderful vets, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, has been dewormed & looking for her loving forever family. We do not know for sure what breed Sophie is mixed with & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Sophie's friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Sophie potty trained. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Sophie & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Sophie who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little lady. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application. Sophie has an adoption fee of $685 & is ready for her truly loving forever home. �'۬An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.�'۬As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. �'۬Our number one focus is finding these little
