About River

I found River in May of 2018 while mountain biking in Knoxville. She was over heated and stressed. She followed me to my car where I gave her water and posted her picture to Facebook. Someone recognized River as her neighbor's dog. Owners were contacted but they couldn't keep her, so I took her. As soon as I picked up on the anxiety, I took her to my vet and they started her on prozac. I have attempted all sorts of behavior modifications but she is still suffers from separation anxiety. She just wants to be included. River needs to be with a pack or her person. She is social, she loves doggy day care, plays well with other dogs, like kids, cats & people. She would be a great companion for someone or another dog who needs pup pal. She is fixed and UTD on all shots. I am a busy, single mom with full time job. I have fostered her for as long as i can, helped her get away from a bad situation. Now River NEEDS someone who knows the breed, has time for her. Please help me find River the RIGHT forever home!
