Champ came to us injured. He was the victim of an apparent dog attack and we suspect his owners moved and left him. His entire back end was full of puncture wounds and a very nasty abscess, he was also unneutered. We immediately scooped him up and took him to the vet. He was shaved, abscess drained, wounds were cleaned and he was given antibiotics. He was also combo tested, vaccinated and neutered. Despite being injured and in pain, this boy was the sweetest cat. He didn't know me from Adam's house cat and head bumped me the first time I approached him. He is still that sweet boy. Now that he has healed he loves to play, lay in the sun and wrestle with the other kittens. He is a very good natured cat and he really doesn't mind anything. His wounds are healed but it will take time for all his hair to grow back. He gets his last set of vaccines the first week of June and he will be ready to go to his forever home. He is great with small dogs but large dogs TERRIFY him. He does play rough with other cats but he is great with older children. Champ is now fully vetted and ready to go to his FURever home! This boy is as sweet as they come.
